Welcome to the home page of IFIP Technical Committee on Human-Computer Interaction (TC13). The committee consists of elected representatives from the member countries of IFIP, as well as six Working Groups that work on special focus areas within the general topic of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).

Ubiquitous computing is now pervading all aspects of human life. People expect interactive technology to be adaptive, relevant and able to handle synchronous and asynchronous social interaction. Usability, acceptability, universal accessibility and user satisfaction are all current research areas within HCI.

TC13 is responsible for the conference INTERACT, which was last held in 2011, in Lisbon, Portugal. The next INTERACT conference will be held in 2013 in Cape Town, South Africa. For detailed information visit our conference web page at http://www.interact2013.org
