- Accessibility Award
- The ACCESSIBILITY AWARD recognizes an outstanding contribution with international impact in the field of accessibility for disabled users in human computer interaction. The ACCESSIBLITY AWARD is associated with each INTERACT Conference, usually biennial, and is awarded for the most outstanding contribution on ageing, disability and inclusive design in the form of a refereed paper submitted to and delivered at the Conference. Working Group 13.3 on HCI and Disability offers this award in order to draw attention to the information technology which takes into account the needs and preferences of people who are older and disabled. This may be in the form of an assistive technology specifically for older and disabled people, or a generic design solution that would be more usable for a wider range of people.
